Anna is a broker associate and part owner here at Barbagelata Real Estate. Her career began in 1986 with her working closely with her father, the founder of the firm. In her long career, she has transcended the boom and bust real estate markets for almost the last thirty years. Her expertise has made her one of the iconic names in the San Francisco brokerage community, not only because of her top producer status but also because of her personable and professional manner. Anna has always been able to calmly navigate her many clients through hundreds of successful transactions here in San Francisco.
Anna also represents one of the top producing Barbagelata Real Estate teams with her sister-in-law, Sandy Gandolfo, contributing to one of the strongest market shares in sales in many San Francisco neighborhoods.
Anna went to Mercy High School here in San Francisco and attended Dominican University in San Rafael. She is passionate about education and has a Certificate in Early Childhood Education. Anna also enjoys traveling with her husband and the great outdoors. She is an avid cyclist, hiker, and music lover. She lives in San Francisco’s Mission District and also spends time in Grass Valley. She loves walking throughout the city, especially Mission Dolores Park, and enjoys the many incredible cafes and restaurants here in San Francisco.
Sandy started her real estate career at Hill & Co. and Anchor Real Estate before she transferred to Barbagelata Real Estate. She has been in the real estate business for 25 years and works in partnership with Anna Barbagelata, a broker associate of the firm. They have been one of the Top Producing teams here for over ten years. Sandy is also one of the highest producing agents ever to represent the Ingleside Terrace neighborhood of San Francisco.
Sandy takes great pride in being the “go to” expert for her clients. They count on her experience, resourcefulness, and honesty to guide them through the major decisions that surround their largest assets. She has boundless enthusiasm for real estate and tries to be the epitome of optimism in every transaction. Sandy also keeps up with the changing market, incorporating new marketing ideas into her real estate practice that inspire her to work hard and stay motivated.
The best way to reach Sandy is to call her cell phone – it’s always with her so that she can receive phone calls, text, or e-mails on the spot. If she misses a call, she generally gets back to people ASAP.
Sandy never leaves home without comfortable shoes for the hills (and stairs) of San Francisco and, of course, her iPhone, AKA her electronic brain! Her hobbies include: playing golf, volunteering for local charities and schools, cooking gourmet meals in her beautiful kitchen, and watching her children play sports - a blast!
